Transport Logistic China 2016

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (the Register, RS) participates in the international exhibition Transport Logistic China 2016 that will be held on June, 14–16 in Shanghai, China.

The exhibition unites specialists in the area of transport, logistics, telematics, electronic commerce, storage facilities, material processing, cargo and passenger transportation. Traditionally, the Register represents here the entire range of services in the survey of containers at every stage of their life cycle - from design to completion of operation. RS performs technical supervision of containers for general and bulk cargo, chemical products, liquefied gases, helium, nuclear wastes, explosive materials, as well as offshore containers used for delivery of goods to oil-and-gas producing platforms. The Register issues documents which enable to use containers in the international handling for their carriage by maritime, river, railway and automobile transport.

RS cooperates with a number of Chinese manufacturers performing technical supervision during design and manufacture of containers. Business relations have been developed between the RS and CIMC, the company producing about 60 percent of all worldwide manufactured containers, ZZTC being well experienced in designing pressure vessels, tank containers for chemical products, offshore containers and CXIC, one of the largest companies for manufacture of general cargo containers.
