It became possible due to raft of legislation recently adopted by the RF Government and aimed at supporting of domestic manufacturers.

The most advanced engineering solutions will be applied during construction of the trawler. "Modern trawlers are technologically advanced ships fitted with sophisticated equipment. Project 170701 is a telling example of innovation approach. The trawler has conceptually new ship architecture Ц capsula-type bow and unique hull design owing to which the trawler will have advanced seaworthiness and expanded working area on board. Technology development, diversity of the particulars of ships under construction, and close interaction with shipyards, designers and customers are becoming an incentive for updating the RS requirements, thus assisting us in development of the RS rules. Experience and qualification of the RS specialists allows to competently resolve each challenging issue", noted Mikhail Kuteev, Head of RS Baltic Branch.
