Approval-In-Principle

The Approval-In-Principle service is intended to assist the customers and developers of conceptual and innovative process solutions for construction of offshore oil and gas facilities, in particular, fixed offshore platforms (FOP) in experts’ assessment of technical documentation at the initial design stage.

Documentation can be reviewed at the sketch design or concept design stage to assess whether the proposed process solutions are applicable, to evaluate the required specific actions to obtain the appropriate Register documents (certificates), and to inform the customers on the existing restrictions and conditions of use for the proposed new process solutions taking into account the Register engineering analysis and experience.
